Neil Dolman set up Bright Lites UK after being a freelance lighting designer and engineer for over 13 years. He started within the amateur dramatics and working into the professional market. Whilst working in the numerous theatres including Colne Municipal Hall, Burnley Mechanics and Preston Guild Hall as a sound and lighting technician and house rigger, Neil was becoming more and more aware of the need for a “small enough to care, big enough to cope” lighting company in the North West. In 2003, Bright Lites UK was born. | 
| Bright Lites has progressed from a small lighting company to a lighting company with dealerships such as Martin lighting and a large number of big shows behind them.
